MY MOTHER, MY FRIEND........ POETRY BY G.A.G.E

When long time friend of Eazy-e,Mc Ren,& Dr Dre, "JAY BIBLE" aka Big Jay (who got me the deal with dre in 2005) asked me to write some encouraging words for his mothers obituary paper i felt honored, i didnt really know what to say cause i never had to do any thing like that, i was thinking "dag, this will be a 4ever memory so wat should i say, this is what came out.......

MY MOTHER MY FRIEND

You are the voice that soothes the soul when the darkness seems to surpass the light/
When i am wrong you are the one that stirs me thru the path of making everything right/

You are my mother, the one that gave me a chance at life/
You are my friend, the one that sheltered me thru out the lonely nights/

My mentor, you teach me a way i never knew existed/
My everything, so it is thru me that you will keep on living/

But who shall i turn to now??????

A LETTER 2 MY FANS.....

Its a sunny tuesday afternoon in this east Atlanta coffee shop, while i sip this Expresso i start to think where would i be if i had no fans.Where should i start, the love that i recieve from the public is over-welming, and to think, people told me i would never make it as a rapper. They hated and hated, but......it was because of people like YOU that made me able to chase a dream untill i caught it, Like I always say "Your Dreams & wishes are all behind lifes doors, keep knocking and eventually one will open" i like to live by that. When i 1st started i had no idea where i could take this thing, who knew i would have fans in Canada, Switzerland, Finland, UK, Spain, France, Germany & Austrailia. I sometimes get fan mail from places i never even new existed such as Qatar. I would just like to take the time to thank u. No one ever thanx the fans, they thank alot of people but never really take the time to acknowledge the ones who make this possible. I have had a ruff life and have over come alot of pain. Its like the fans are my personal shrinks, because i speak to u, and u listen, i release my anger to u, and i share with u my happy moments... Wit out this music i would have followed a very different path, maybe even be dead or in jail. But..... I'm not, because i have you to work hard for, i have you to please, and it is you that will look down on me if i do some dumb shit and mess up everything i have going for my self. Its almost as if i feel like i cant let u down, even more than i feel about myself. Every time i record i think, damn what if they dont like this, or what if they think my last cd was better? but it is that train of thought that makes me go harder than ever, its just something about the love u give that makes me turn that mic on and record even when i dont feel like it, 2 my fans I love you 4ever so i hope u feel the same....................................... MY VIEWS ON FRAUDS IN MUSIC

FRAUD- a fraud is an intentional deception made for personal gain or to damage another individual; the related adjective is fraudulent

Is there really a such thing as a fraud in the music game? This is something i ponder, as i sit in this little coffee shop on the east side of Atlanta drinking my daily coffee with 4 sugars. No dissing intended, but 2day i will use Rick Ross as an example;

Rick Ross is a miami based correctional officer turned, gangster rapper. Whos main musical topics are Money & drugs. Some may call officer Ricky a fraud or fake, but lets really think about this, although I (G.A.G.E) often keep my lyrics 100% realistic to fit my lifestyle, thats not the case for all artists. But what we all fail to remember, music is just ART!!

An artists job is to paint a picture for you, weither realistic or not. Is Sylvester Stalone a fraud for writing & starring in a movie called Rocky because he has never been a boxer? Is Billie Holiday a fraud for doing a song called "Strange Fruit" about african americans tied to nooses hanging from trees and it never really happened to her?? Is Van Gogh a fake or fraud for not actually seeing everything that he paints, with his own eyes? This is an art form, Rick Ross' job as an artist is to entertain, not to tell you who he really is!

The frauds that are in music are, the ones on interviews acting as gangsters, flashing guns & drugs. Because its not just music or art any more, you are actually talking to the public and giving them the perception that, that is who you really are.... And i have yet to see Ross on tv flashing guns or saying that he was a big miami dealer, so untill then, Ross you are ok in my book.... HELP SAVE THE ART.. - @gagemoney-

   & garlic powder
1/4 cup of Milk
1 Bag of mozzerella cheese
1 Bag of Broccoli Florettes

Served with Butter, Garlic Bread
