GAGE'S WORLD: 2011

As I sit here in the food court of Perimeter Mall with a large Sweet Tea looking at all the people that pass by i start to notice that every male from the age 24-15 dresses exactly the same.. skinny jeans, a very very uhhhh did i say very, small T-shirt on with a snap back and some rosary beads.. Where is the individuality in todays world?? I will answer that... there is none!

On Another note, People have been wondering why I chose the title "Spirit Of Philadelphia" for my latest release.. If you Don't know, or have never heard of S.O.P it is a cruise ship...

The S.O.P cruise ship starts out in Philly but sails off through Delaware and New Jersey while people wine and dine to good music along their trip. Hints how I got the name. I was born and raised in Philadelphia until I was 20 yrs old but I had to sail off and venture other states to make my Living. And just like a spirit, my impact lingers anywhere that my presence is felt. I will explain more about why I left Philadelphia in this song called "Ms Philadelphia"

The city Of Philadelphia Has brought a great a deal of grief & pain to my Birdsong Family. The city even went as Far as Paying witnesses to Lie in court, and false statements as the head of prosecution which was former mayor Ed Randell at the time did anything he could to convict the Birdsong brothers and send some away for life and schedule the other to be sentenced to death. These are my mother's (Aserene Birdsong) brothers....

And Now as the city of Philadelphia Vs My cousin Wak Birdsong, Son of convicted Lifer William Birdsong we await the verdict to his charges on July 6th 2011 in Federal Court..

The City of Philadelphia went on an "extensive Hunt" (yea rite) for the woman who Killed my father winter of 2000 as he crossed Germantown Ave, finally catches her and she is sentenced to serve one year in jail. Smmfh! As i dreamed night after night for her release to finally get my revenge I realized I had a friend on my side named Karma. Upon her release she was ran down by a car and paralyzed from the neck down thus for she is stuck in one spot for the rest of her miserable days. This is the first time I have spoken up about such matter, im just giving you my Philadelphia roots.

I can remember every detail of growing up, everybody I use to Hang with to the games we played growing up... No matter how far away I travel my spirit will be felt in Philadelphia if not through you, it will be through the events and people I name in this song called "On My Mind"

I often feel that I have no help outside of Philadelphia, when I need help with certain things.. all my closest friends live in Philly, Most of my Family still lives in Philly... In most of my videos you see me stand alone where if I was Home in Philadelphia I could get mobs and mobs of people to help. Industry artists, Dj's and producers who i have spent 20-75 thousand dollars with act like they can't return calls or even tweets, so sometimes I do feel alone like i talk about in this song "Alone 2nite"

Named By my 9yr old nephew "Nephew Money" The Super Man Sandwich has Became A classic in My Family's Home and as well As mine. It is a Turkey Burger Smothered in Diced Tomatoes, Diced & steamed Broccoli, a bit of Minced Garlic, And 6 different Cheeses. (use Cheese & Meat of Your Choice)

Fry The Ground Turkey Burger in a pan, while you steam the broccoli & tomatoes in a separate sauce pan, season meat to your taste, After you are done frying your meat, place broccoli & tomatoes on top and Layer it with your 6 cheeses, Lower heat and place top so that the cheese will melt.
